25th ANNIVERSARY COME AND PLAY DAY & REUNION

SScOT (formerly SISO)'s 25th anniversary Come & Play Day and Reunion took place on Saturday August 28th 2010 and took the form of rehearsals and an informal performance of 2 movements of Dvorak's 8th Symphony conducted by Susie Dingle, followed by a reception.  The orchestra of 50 included former participants of SScOT courses and Play Away Days from the past 25 years, parents, staff, assistants and other supporters, who were joined by non-playing friends and family for the performance and reception.  Memories were relived, old friendships were revived, new friendships were formed and a lot of enthusiasm was generated.

SScOT would like to thank all those who supported the organisation by attending this event, and particularly those who contributed financially over and above the set fee.  SScOT is a non profit-making organisation which relies on donations from many sources.  If you were not able to attend the event, maybe you would like to make a contribution in order to enable SScOT to continue motivating, inspiring and stimulating children musically.  Any cheque, no matter how small, payable to SScOT will be gratefully received, and should be sent to Jean Murray at the above address, from whom Gift Aid Declaration Forms are available for tax payers who would like to increase the value of their donation.
